The picture shows the Longsheng Rice Terraces (also called Longji Rice Terraces) seen from the Golden Buddha Peak in Longsheng county, Guangxi Privince, China.
The Longji (meaning Dragon’s Backbone) terraced fields are located about 115 km northeast from Guilin and built along a slope from the riverside up to the mountain top.
The terraces can be reached from three villages: Ping’an, Longji and Jinkeng.
It’s the perfect place for extensive hiking trips.
