The two native Münchner, Amadeus Danesitz and Alex Wulkow met working at the city magazine Prinz, and have since established themselves as recognised gastronomy experts in their home town and beyond. In 2015 these two passionate cocktail fans started the ‘Barguide’, listing the duo’s 50 coveted bars in Munich mixing the most extravagant drinks for the city. Munich’s bar life is providing a new group of young creative bartenders the room to reshape the city’s cocktail and bar culture with their distinct set of fresh, individual and interesting interpretations. And Barguide is bringing these into the spotlight for more than just the locals to enjoy.
On top of compiling the Barguide Amadeus and Alex have extended their passion for sharing Munich’s night life by developing curated bar-tours which run on a regular basis. Together with 8-15 guests, the pair visit four selected bars in an evening, enjoying the locations, signature drinks and special creations. However the last bar tour for 2017 is offering a unique twist! This time the fun will be reversed with 4 bar-keepers jointly presenting their creations in one location.
This ‘Night of the flights’, where you can try 10 midsized drinks accompanied by live jazz performed by the Julian Hesse Trio, will take place on the 30th of November 2017 in the Patolli Bar (Sendlinger Str. 62).
