The Church of St. Donatus in Zadar is the largest pre-romanesque building in Croatia.
The circular Byzantine-style church was commissioned in the second half of the 8th century by bishop Donatus of Zadar.
*Bonus fact: the church was originally named and (dedicated to) “The Church of the Holy Trinity”
